We wandelen ongeveer 3 uur langs het vochtige bos in het Los Haitises National Park. Je leert over de geneeskrachtige planten van dit gebied, ziet de primaire en secundaire bergen van het Los Haitises National Park met breedbladige bossen en bereikt tegelijkertijd de bron van de Jivales-rivier van waaruit het water van de natuurlijke poelen van Eco-lodge Ca\u00f1o Hondo stroomt. Vervolgens nemen we de uitrusting mee die nodig is voor uw veiligheid (reddingsvesten, enz.), kajaks en gaan we door mangrovemoerassen. Je ziet enkele met vogels gevulde mangroven en glooiende heuvels met weelderige vegetatie.
