Take a boat tour through mangroves swamps, past ancient pirate caves, and into protected forests in this picturesque reserve starting from the Ca\u00f1o Hondo Hotels area or from Sabana de la Mar.<\/p>\n

        The tour, organized by \u00abBooking Adventures\u00bb starts at the meeting point set with the Tour Guide. Come with Booking Adventures and start checking some bird-filled mangroves, rolling hills of lush vegetation and caves of Los Haitises National Park<\/strong><\/em>. Taking a boat Excursion from Ca\u00f1o Hondo river, Sabana de la Mar.<\/p>\n

        Through the mangroves and Land at the open San Lorenzo Bay, from where you can photograph the rugged forest landscape. Look to the water to spot Manatees<\/strong><\/em>, crustaceans, and dolphins.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

        The national park\u2019s name comes from its original inhabitants, the Taino Indians. In their language \u201cHaitises\u201d translates to highlands or Hills, a reference to the coastline\u2019s steep geological formations with Limestones. Aventure deeper into the park to explore caves such as the Cueva de la Arena<\/strong><\/em> og Cueva de la linea.<\/em><\/strong> Caves in the reserve were used as shelter by the Taino Indians and, later, by hiding pirates. Look for drawings by Indians that decorate some of the walls. After visiting Los Haitises National Park we will go to Ca\u00f1o Hondo. In Ca\u00f1o Hondo learning about this ecolodge history and Lunchtime with the typical food from Sabana de la Mar Comunity.<\/p>\n

        Lunch will be delicious but we did not finish yet. After lunchtime, we will swim in the Natural spring from Jibales River a perennial river to the Ca\u00f1o Hondo River.\u00a0 Staying at Ca\u00f1o Hondo until 6: 00 pm if you want or less.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

        In the Pools Natural Spring you can stay as long you want swimming and Hiking around. If you are Vegan we also can set some food for you.<\/p>\n
