        Through the mangroves and Land at the open San Lorenzo Bay, from where you can photograph the rugged forest landscape. Look to the water to spot Manatees<\/strong><\/em>, x\u0259r\u00e7\u0259ngkimil\u0259r v\u0259 Delfinl\u0259r.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

        The national park\u2019s name comes from its original inhabitants, the Taino Indians. In their language \u201cHaitises\u201d translates to highlands or Hills, a reference to the coastline\u2019s steep geological formations with Limestones. Aventure deeper into the park to explore caves such as the Cueva de la Arena<\/strong><\/em> v\u0259 Cueva de la linea.<\/em><\/strong> Caves in the reserve were used as shelter by the Taino Indians and, later, by hiding pirates. Look for drawings by Indians that decorate some of the walls. After visiting Los Haitises National Park we will go to Ca\u00f1o Hondo. In Ca\u00f1o Hondo learning about this ecolodge history and Lunchtime with the typical food from Sabana de la Mar Comunity.<\/p>\n

        Lunch will be delicious but we did not finish yet. After lunchtime, we will swim in the Natural spring from Jibales River a perennial river to the Ca\u00f1o Hondo River.\u00a0 Staying at Ca\u00f1o Hondo until 6: 00 pm if you want or less.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
